Now Accepting SNAP with Double Bucks!

South End Farmers Market SNAP/EBT tokensSouth End Farmers Market is redeeming benefits for those on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. SNAP recipients redeem their benefits by swiping their EBT card on a point-of-sale (POS) terminal at the South End Farmers Market tent. Recipients will receive tokens which can be used to buy eligible food products from the market’s participating farmers, ranchers, and food artisans. Tokens do not all have to be used same day of redemption.

As part of the county-wide DoubleBucks program, recipients will receive double their purchase in SNAP tokens, up to $50 ($100 in tokens). We are thrilled to be able to provide offer fresh, local food to our community members who may not be able to afford it otherwise. In addition, everyone can purchase South End Farmers Market tokens in $1.00 and $5.00 denominations. These tokens can be a help for your personal market budgeting – or can be used as gift coins you can give to those to whom you want to share the joys of local food! Get all the details at our tent.
